TCJ Honorary Plaque of Fail: Miley “Pole Dancing Skank” Cyrus

I am not okay with this.

Miiiley, you got esplaining to do!  America’s teen pop annoyance Miley Cyrus shows us she has no plans to “keep it G” for much longer by breaking out the stripper pole and dancing the night away.  I feel like the above picture should be blurred out in it’s entirety, except of course for the young man visible in the bottom left because I can tell he tried hard to get into the shot.

Skankarina Cyrus’s name is probably long overdue in the “Plaque of Fail” department, but I was waiting for just the right time.  And what better time than after she shows all of her pre-teen/tween fans how to be tasteful and classy young ladies?  I don’t have children, and I don’t watch or support Miley myself, but if I was the dad of a young girl that idolized Mrs. Cyrus, I’d be fuming right about now.  At not only Cyrus, but also at Disney Channel for refusing to take action against her skanky behavior even after SEVERAL offenses.  “Parents can rest assured that all content presented on the Disney Channel is age-appropriate for our audience – kids 6-14 – and consistent with what our brand values are” is all Disney had to say?  I mean of course she won’t be on a pole on her Disney Channel show!  But when you have millions of kids following your poster child’s every move, you have to at least speak against such behavior or you lose a little credibility in the childhood values department.

So, Mrs. Cyrus, keep your pole dancing ways at the club, in your room, or pretty much just anywhere that won’t allow it to wind up on TV where millions of little girls that look up to you can be negatively influenced by it.  Thank you.
