Thrilling Thursdays Giveaway: Comment Away, Deluxers!

Like my new nickname for members?  I think I’ll keep it.

I’m pleased to announce the official rules for the first weekly Thrilling Thursdays Giveaway/Contest!  This giveaway will require a little more of you than the first, but not by much.  Here are the details:

• To “enter” this giveaway, all you have to do is leave a relevant comment on any post here at The Conservative Journal or e-mail me a question or response to any article.  This doesn’t have to be 12 paragraphs with a clearly defined thesis, just make sure you actually add something to the article your commenting on or e-mailing me about.  You can easily do this in as little as one sentence.
• This contest is only open to Conservative Journal Deluxe Members.  As always, anyone is welcome to comment and send in questions/responses on articles, but only Deluxe Members who comment will be put into the drawing.  If you aren’t currently a member and would like to join, click here to read the details and become a member now!  It’s free and extremely easy to do.
• For this competition, you will only be entered 1 time regardless of the number of comments you post.  Commenting multiple times is great and appreciated, but until I can see how a basic “Thrilling Thursday” competition runs I don’t want to get too crazy; in the words of Bon Qui Qui.
• Be sure and comment under the same e-mail address you used to sign up for Conservative Journal Deluxe.  That’s the only way I can confirm you are a member and therefore eligible for the prize.
• As far as technicalities, each Deluxe Member is assigned a number in the database of members for all giveaways.  I will use random.org to generate a random number until the number of a user who commented is chosen.  That user will be crowned the winner of this giveaway and will be notified through e-mail before I announce it on the site.  If the winner doesn’t respond to the “congratulations” e-mail in 48 hours, I will generate another number and will notify that winner.  If that winner doesn’t claim his/her prize in 48 hours, I will keep the prize and use it in the next giveaway.

The Prize

Now what everyone’s been waiting for…. the prize!  The winner of this giveaway will receive a $100 Amazon.com Gift Card sent to the inbox of the e-mail I have on file as soon as he or she responds to the congratulations e-mail.  That’s why it’s important to be sure you actually used an e-mail address you check when signing up for Conservative Journal Deluxe!  Of course, the Thrilling Thursday prize won’t always be this much, but this is the first one so I decided to splurge.
