I haven’t really seen enough to be 100% positive, but I’m choosing Didi Benami as my early favorite for this season of American Idol. Her rendition of Kara-penned “Terrified” was not only beautiful, but also striking and unique. Interestingly enough, all of the girls this year are pretty unique, which makes her (and all of them) a little less unique. But regardless, Didi is interesting and she seems like a sweet girl, so she’s got my vote for now. Watch her video below:

I admit I haven’t seen enough of American Idol myself, but that version was indeed very beautiful. The judges have it hard this season it seems. So many great singers have gone home already. Nonetheless, it seems that this year’s American Idol will prove to be worth watching!
I never watched American Idol before this season other than a few glimpses here and there. I have to say that was one of the best performances I have seen thus far this season. Didi has a great voice.
She did a great job and she sings as well as Crystal or Katie but I think they will all lose out to that handsome twanger Casey James.
I haven’t been following American Idol this time either, but Didi’s voice was amazing.
