Top 10 Healthcare Reform Myths: #5- Illegal Immigrants Will Be Covered by the Healthcare Reform

FALSE

This, along with funding for abortion, was probably one of the most widely (and wildly) debated topics during the process of passing Healthcare reform.  Between Joe Wilson’s “YOU LIE” outburst, to the countless protests that were held in front of government offices, the opposition was definitely there.  Well, after doing some pretty intense Google searching, everyone should rest easy with the fact that I don’t see it to be possible in any way for illegal immigrants to receive funding for health insurance under this bill.

In fact, illegal immigrants are totally excluded from the bill, courtesy of this passage (Look at lines 3-7):

I think that pretty much clears any doubt about the coverage of illegal aliens.
