ProBlogger (which is a great blogging resource, for those of you with your own blogs) posted their 7 Link Challenge today, and I thought it might be a fun thing for the blog to do. Check out the links below, most of which will send you to a past post from The Conservative Journal.
#1- My First Post: Colin Powell Endorsing Barack Obama (October 20, 2008) Actually, I don’t think this was my first post, but it is the first one that shows up. Regardless, I was not to happy with Mr. Powell, and I doubt he’s too happy with himself now.
#2- Post I Enjoyed Writing the Most: 10 Things We Can Learn from White House Party Crashers, Tareq and Michaele Salahi (November 30, 2009) This post was so much fun to write because it was complete nonsense. There is nothing to be learned from the party crashers except how to be useless. However, pulling 10 (or
lessons out of the situation was a blast. Not to mention we caught so much flack for that post because some people, try as they may, CANNOT understand humor.
#3- Post With a Great Discussion: Daily Dose of Carrie Underwood: Singing “How Great Thou Art” During the Play On Tour (June 6, 2010) Actually, I don’t know if I’d call this a discussion; it was more like a full on cage match between Me, Anna Kate, and Anita. Check it out in the comments section for a good laugh. Who do you think won? My money’s on Anna Kate. FURTHER READING: We continued to duke it out on THIS post, if you wish to continue reading the madness.
#4- Post From Another Blog I Wish I’d Written: Harmony In the Economy (September 9, 2009) This little gem from It Occurred to Me still has me laughing because it’s all so true. Timeless humor right there, folks.
#5- Post That I Think Was Most Helpful: Top 10 Healthcare Myths: Fact or Fiction (March 29, 2010) Though we only made it to #6 (This series started at a very busy time in my life) I think we covered enough of the basic healthcare worries to be helpful.
#6- Title I am Most Proud Of: Charlie Rangel Can’t Read His Own Writing (March 23, 2009) Yeah yeah yeah, I know this title isn’t anything special. But Charlie Rangel is an idiot and it makes me laugh to imagine him unable to read something he had written himself.
#7- Post I Wish More People Had Read: The Saga of Princess Pelosi the Magnificent (March 12, 2009) This post makes me chuckle. I thought it was just so funny; I even took the time to make fake e-mails and everything. Despite my effort, it never really caught on. Maybe it’ll see it’s first second wind after this. Doubt it.
