In every election, media outlets and pollsters usually focus on several key races; in this election, most media attention is focused on either the Delaware Senate race with Christine O’Donnell and Chris Coons, or the Nevada Senate race with Sharron Angle and Harry Reid. This usually results in an overwhelming amount of information about those races, but very little about some smaller, but equally important, races all over the country. Here’s your chance to change that:
The Conservative Journal will now be taking suggestions regarding what races we poll during the 2010 Election cycle. We obviously can’t cover everything, but we are going to expand coverage to give everyone an idea of where some less publicized races stand. To get your race covered, you can do one (or all) of 3 things:
- Leave a comment on this post. Give us the state the race is in (as well as the district if it’s a House race) and the candidates running for the office in question. Make sure you comment under a real e-mail address so we can contact you regarding the race if needed.
- If Twitter is your thing, send us a Tweet! All you have to do is mention us in a tweet that contains the state (and district if House) and the candidates running. Our Twitter name is @TCJournalUpdate, but since you’re already following us, you should know that, right?
- And if you prefer private conversations, you can always e-mail us the details at our e-mail address (theconservativejournal@gmail.com) and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
Please limit your requests to 1 race per person. However, as with any contest, you can easily get around that by bribing your friends to request races for you from their Twitter account or e-mail address. We don’t recommend this workaround when requesting in comments because we will know and we will THROW YOUR REQUESTS OUT AND BAN YOU!!!! Not really.
