This race has shifted to the Democrat’s favor over the past few weeks, but Blumenthal’s margin hasn’t gotten so large that McMahon can be counted out entirely.  Our polls show her down by 5, with all polls showing her at 7 and 9 points down.  If turnout is on her side, McMahon can pull out an upset here.  She must overcome the fact that Connecticut, like Delaware, is fundamentally a Democratic state.  If the wave is as big as Gallup has projected, McMahon will win.
