So, You Wanna Be A Blogger? A Commoners Guide to Blogging

So, you wanna be a blogger?  If that’s case, you’re in luck because thousands of bloggers write content dedicated to people like you who are looking for all of the ins and outs of the blogging world.  Of course, finding tips is one thing, but understanding them is a different ballgame entirely.  The “learning curve” was one of the biggest hurdles I had to overcome when I started The Conservative Journal back in 2008 and I still don’t quite feel like I’ve mastered all of the lingo.  Had things just been written in English when I was starting, however, I could have saved a lot time by not having to figure out the hard way that a “web server” is not a virtual waiter who delivers food to you at your computer.

With the concept of plain-English blogging tips in mind, I’d like to introduce my solution to the learning curve that faces newbie bloggers: Blogging 101 @ The Conservative Journal.  None of us in The Conservative Journal family have been professionally educated on the blogging process, so what you’ll get are countless tips that have worked for us along the way rather than pages of html code shortcuts and strings of technical words that look like something spelled out in your alphabits.

So if you think SEO stands for “send e-mail only” or “sour edged octagon”, sit back down and get comfortable because by the end of the ride you’ll be blogging like a self-made semi-pro.
