At the end of the debate prior to tonight’s, I said that if I ever saw another 2012 GOP Debate, it’d be too soon. Of course, it didn’t take long before I was counting down the days until tonight’s CNN Debate, the first after an extensive debating drought that left my right wing feeling vacant.
Tonight’s debate, moderated by CNN’s John King, was billed as THE moment for Rick Santorum to prove himself and validate his current lead in the national polls. Unfortunately for Mr. Santorum, this was not his Austerlitz (I’m in History 102 right now, so excuse the high nerd factor in that last statement). Here’s a look at the winners and losers of tonight’s CNN GOP Debate.
